Advances in both hardware and software have potentially made the use of unmanned surveillance vehicles or ‘drones’ a cost-effective option for a variety of government and private sector surveillance applications.  The most commonly used drone is the unmanned aerial vehicle.

When a Secutors collects personal information it must ensure:

  • the collection is for a lawful purpose directly related to a function or activity of the company

  • the collection is necessary to achieve that purpose

  • the manner in which the collection occurs is not unfair or unlawful.

Drones can potentially capture a broad range of information, some of which may not be relevant to the collecting agency’s functions.  Secutors should have a clearly defined and communicated purpose for using drones and these purposes need to be directly linked to Secutor's functions.

Here at Secutors we offer:

  • Photography and Reconnaissance

  • Event Protection

  • Crowd Control

  • Remote Surveillance

  • Remote Reconnaisance
